SKV PR trump competitors in North-west PR awards
|
Award-winning
Spinoza Kennedy Vesey PR won more Gold awards than any
other North-west PR agency at this year’s NW Chartered
Institute of Public Relations awards. The agency won
four Gold and two Silver awards and was described by
the judges as “a heavyweight consultancy,
a mature and focused team and a credit to our industry.”
The Gold awards were for campaigns
in categories: Trade or Technical, Media Relations category,
and Business and Financial.
In addition, the agency’s Account
Manager Lorna Skingley (pictured) took the coveted CIPR
North-west Young Communicator of the Year award. The
25-year-old graduated with a double first in Social
Anthropology and Comparative Religion from Manchester
University, and combines her SKV PR work with radio
presenting duties at Manchester community radio station
ALL FM.
SKV PR also won two Silver awards,
one in the Consumer category and one in the Low Budget
category.
The awards were announced at a glittering
ceremony at the new Hilton Hotel in Manchester by the
event’s compere, broadcaster Anthony Wilson.
SKV PR Managing Director Andrew Spinoza
said: “29 industry and business awards in
eight years is a record we can proud of. It is gratifying
to read the judges’ remarks, which cement SKV
PR’s reputation as being at the very summit of
the PR industry in the North-west.”
