Spinoza Kennedy Vesey PR was brought on board
to launch Pink Ladies Taxis in London on Thursday
16th February and was praised for its success
by none other than by PR Guru Max Clifford.

Pink
Ladies, the UK’s first taxi service exclusively
for women, driven by women, is the brainchild of Warrington
entrepreneurs Andrea Winders and Tina Dutton. Spinoza
Kennedy Vesey PR presented Pink Ladies to the national
and international media during a press briefing at the
Hilton Park Lane Hotel, fronted by ex Atomic Kitten
Kerry Katona, who is represented by Clifford.
ICoverage obtained included Pink Ladies
appearing on Sky News Sunrise with Eamon Holmes, GMTV
and BBC Radio 5 Live. The Pink Ladies story was also
carried on London regional radio and in a number of
national and international daily newspapers and consumer
magazines.
In his regular column in this week’s
UK Press Gazette, Clifford said, “Considering
that not a single penny was spent on advertising, the
coverage by the media, aided and abetted by a vigorous
PR campaign headed by PR agency Spinoza Kennedy Vesey,
was truly phenomenal.”
While Pink Ladies taxis offer a fun
and quirky product, their message on women’s safety
is serious and Spinoza Kennedy Vesey PR worked closely
with the Mayor of London’s office to ensure that
Pink Ladies message was in line with the Mayor’s
campaign on eradicating illegal mini-cabs.
Spinoza Kennedy Vesey PR also arranged
and managed an evening reception at the Hilton Park
Lane to celebrate the launch, which was attended by
over 200 guests.
Andrew Spinoza, Managing Director of
Spinoza Kennedy Vesey PR said, “Our role as
the PR agency was to position Pink Ladies as an organisation
setting the agenda on women’s safety and highlighting
the dangers of illegal mini-cabs.”
He continued, “We really
made an impact on the days news agenda and the coverage
obtained included Sky News Sunrise, GMTV, London Today,
BBC Radio 5 Live, regional radio and a number of national
and international media.”
