Launch of Urbis, Manchester for Urban Experience Ltd

INTRODUCTION:
Urbis is a £30m attraction, funded by Millennium Commission, European Commission and Manchester City Council (MCC).

Opened June 2002, Urbis tells the 'people story' of cities using leading-edge technology to dramatize the experience of urbanization.
